Here’s a list of everything you need to set up a FootGolf course

FootGolf Cup

The FootGolf Cup has a 21” interior diameter allowing the ball to rest on bottom between the flagstick and the side of the cup. The depth of the cup is 12”. The cup’s outer 1.5” lip features a 10 degree downward slant to better allow the ball to drop into the cup.

Flags, Flag Poles and Course Markers all match so you can easily find your way around the FootGolf course.

Flag Sticks

The Flag Sticks are 7.5’ tall with standard ferrule in two-tone (white/black)

Flags

The Flags are white & black with the FootGolf logo and numbered (1-18)

Tee Markers and Course Markers

We make the Course Markers in Black with White letters to tie the FootGolf course all together. The signs are made with a tough plastic that is easy to clean and very durable. All Markers have the FootGolf logo. They stand 6” to 10” high. The Tee Markers have a circle on the top showing the hole number as to be easily seen by foot-golfers.

FootGolf Balls

The game is played with a number 5 regular soccer ball. When smaller children play, a number 3 junior soccer ball would be better.

Our FootGolf balls come in 8 colors and have golf ball dimples on the white spaces of the soccer ball like the balls shown above. The personal balls used should be marked for easy identification.

How to get FootGolf started on your course

Since FootGolf plays faster and the holes are a lot shorter you can set up an 18 hole course on most 9 hole golf layouts. After your course is set up, here are some things you can do to get the customers playing your course.

  1. Contact all the Soccer coaches in your town and invite them to bring their club out for a game of FootGolf. The game will help the players play soccer better and help them improve their shots, like having practice but a lot more fun. It also will let the kids see first hand a golf course and some will want to learn golf. Soccer is getting very popular with the kids but the parents can’t play soccer with them. However, they can all play FootGolf together as a family.
  2. Call your local paper and invite them out for a game of FootGolf. This will get you a free sport story in most papers. Talk with them about how the whole family can play this game together. If you can get them to bring enough players you could set up a best-ball tournament for them to play. This would get you a great story about the game and would encourage other groups that would want to have tournaments for their organizations or companies.
  3. Talk it up. Meet with members of the various organizations in your town, such as Rotary, Kiwanis, Parent-Teacher Assn. Invite them to come play this new game and show them how much fun they can have and that this is a great game that can get the whole family playing together.
